Flip Burger's RBQ Sandwich Upside Down Booth in Atlanta

I visited Flip Burger in Atlanta today, WOW! The atmosphere was more than chic. Great waitress; very attractive (Mindy), but they all were. Their unique Milkshakes were superb; I had the Krispy Kreme option, was I full? As for the burgers, my friend (who will forever be known as Big Swiss) had the Butcher’s Cut ($8.00); crumbled blue cheese, caramelized onions, soy truffle vinaigrette, pickled shallots, red wine jam, and fris√©e.¬†I on the other hand, had the RBQ ($8.00) minus any white sauces. I cannot stand such substances; thus, I exchanged the condiments for a Sunny Side Up Egg and Bacon. These accents more than propelled the flavor of the Brisket; if you have time or extra cash, visit
Flip Burger Boutique in West Midtown, you will not leave hungry. Other than the amazing meat, delicious shake, and attractive personnel, this restaurant’s appeal lies within its decor. For instance, the name of the establishment encompasses their overall goal, FLIP!!! ¬†In essence, everything from Head-to-Toe was upside down yet, right-side up. Although we sat at a table, the adjacent booths were a direct vertical reflection of themselves. Off topic, I cannot emphasize enough what an amazing addendum to the meal the Egg made, TRY IT!

Good:

Unique and Delicious. Booths and tables are upside down on the ceiling which makes for a very cool atmosphere. Burgers are small, relatively speaking, but mouthwatering¬†nonetheless. Their Liquid Nitrogen Milkshake Selection¬†consisting¬†of; Krispy Kreme, Nutella with Burnt Marshmallow, Sweet Tea, Peach Melba, Orange Creamsicle, Foie Grass, and S’mores is a must have.

Bad:

Pricey and a VERY LOUD atmosphere. Not conducive for business or catching up with a long-lost friend.

Other Thoughts:

Krispy Kreme Milkshake, Amazing! Gotta Try the RBQ Burger.

Very fashionable and trendy decor.

Bathroom:

Located in the back left corner, clean and easily accessible; one at a time, a mentionably unique sink.

Doughnut Milkshake

Adding to this labor of love, I would like to argue the relevancy of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts¬†in a shake ($4.50). The appetizing treat was similar to orthodox vanilla, however, more than exclusive to the chef’s superior innovation. Not to mention the jewel was conjured with Nitrogen, the cold sweetness was the perfect ending to such a savory lunch.

Do they really have Doughnut Milkshakes??

    Sounds Amazing

Good burger. But music is way way too loud. Don’t try to have a conversation with the people you are with. Can’t hear servers and servers can’t hear customers. Conveniently my order was wrong. Friendly staff fixed it. Come on guys turn the music down. It’s not a dance bar.
